The new Modular Class 5 Towbars are a fully bolted, custom fit bar, requiring no welding. Choosing your towbar is now as easy as A, B, C, allowing you to pick and choose from a variety of sidearms, cross tubes, and hitch kits to suit your customer’s truck and towing needs. All bars come fully wired with a wiring solution patch.

Towing often requires electrical signals between car and trailer/caravan. This involves wiring (tail) and an ECU (below). Select the ECU and tail that best suits your trailer/caravan.

What can it tow?

The Truck Towbar (Class 5) to suit Hino 921 (1/2019 on) heavy duty (Class 4) towbar has a towing capacity of 4500kg and is specifically designed for towing caravans, large trailers, boats or horse floats. Ensure that when carrying bike racks and other items with vertical force on the towbar that you check the owners handbook for weight limits.

How will my towbar look

This towbar has a black powdercoat finish. The hitch receiver is a standard 50mm square receiver, with chrome hitch collar and comes standard with a removable Tow Ball Mount (TBM), 50mm tow ball and rated D-shackles. When you’re not towing, simply remove the retaining clip and hitch pin and the Trailer Ball Mount slides straight out.

Safe Towing

Hayman Reese towbars are designed to be compatible with Weight Distribution systems, used to safely tow Caravans and large loads, along with hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks and platforms. They come standard with a tow ball but also work with a DO35 Pin and off-road coupling.
